Illustration

Early in my career I discovered I had an interest in technical illustrations. Working for Henry Ford Health System, I worked in partnership with Doctors to develop illustrations for medical journals, publications for research findings, as well as materials supporting patients to clearly and simply communicating complex medical concepts. I enjoy the process of starting with simple lines to define basic shapes, then layer-by-layer the addition of elements to create depth and dimension. Although graphic illustration is more time consuming than many other types of design projects, I find the process rewarding. I also use my illustration skills for logo and identity creation as well as custom invitations.
